I'm only sleeping

Wisdom can show up in the strangest of ways

The other day I had lunch with a very special group of ladies; women dedicated to the pursuit of their own well-being so that they may share their insights and knowledge with others.

During our time together, we engaged in a robust conversation sharing experiences and ideas and stories and challenges.

Nearing the end of our lunch, it came to light that a rather interesting phenomenon had afflicted most of us on our respective journeys: sleepiness.

In fact, they described that as they found themselves changing and evolving...adopting new understandings of themselves and the world around them, there came also an incredible need for rest.

What a beautiful example of the body understanding what it needs during a time of great change…and how wisdom is always speaking to us and through us.

Now…while I’m off to catch a few more ZZZZs…perhaps you would consider how wisdom is showing up in your own life.

It’s there.

Waiting patiently to be heard.
