The Merits of Lightening Up

Lightheartedness is such an underrated quality.

Think about what the words put together mean.

A light heart.

Even saying those words together brings a lightness and expansiveness to my own heart.

It’s like no matter what I may be facing, I can see my way through.

I see possibility.

I see opportunity.

I see lightness and love.

It is a buoyant feeling that carries with it the secret sauce to magic-making in life.

Whenever I find myself getting too heavy-hearted - especially in the times we find ourselves, I remember to lighten my load by lightening my heart.

In doing so I magically find the miracles and the beauty and the laughter that lift away the heavy so that I can once again see the light.
